|California||The Great Possibilities of California and Cuba||Cuba|
Direct or indirect investments in Cuba by USA businesses are not currently allowed by USA laws except in very specific situations which have been acknowledged by the US Treasury Department.
However, there are many investment groups organizing in the USA to fund future Cuba activities when legal. There is a "closed end fund" trading on the NASDAQ small issues market which focuses on Cuba.
Several years ago, a Texas corporation received approval from the Securities Commissioner of Texas to sell a SCOR offering of $500,000.00 to Texans in order to further capitalize its balance sheet to prepare for future Texas Cuba trade when the USA Embargo is lifted. The Offering was fully subscribed and sold its offered shares completely on day 1 of the Offering.
